I had a very high GPA and the program was accelerated, only 1 year. I was also part of a minority. Minorities are well represented in the school.

Very easy to get inMay 19 2013Biology
Very easy to get in. Although I advise everyone to STAY AWAY. This school drains you for your money and the customer service is HORRIBLE. The last thing they want to do is help you!

Getting into the university was the easy partDec 14 2012Psychology
Getting into the university was the easy part. What's hard was keeping up with what requirements you had to complete in order to apply for classes because the undergraduate folks don't really tell you when the deadlines are, YOU have to keep asking and do everything ASAP (again, that's how it is at most colleges). These people will help, but they will NOT baby you.

Apply early! This is not an ivy league school,Dec 13 2012Urban Planning
Apply early! This is not an ivy league school, but it is still important to apply as soon as you can. The school's admissions office offers scholarships based on gpa and test scores that you can get just by applying. Between Bright Futures, and that scholarship I got from FAU, I pay less than $500 a semester to go here, so it's worth it. Also they super score your tests, so out of the 3 ACT's I took, they take the top reading, math, writing score and combined them to give me the best score.

I was a transfer student to FAU because my high school profile wasn't what FAU was accepting. I went to a state college and received an A.A. degree. I joined an honors society at my college and was awarded a full scholarship to FAU, my school of choice.
